About Cultural Cotton

Cultural Cotton is a socially–conscious t–shirt company founded in response to the overwhelming number of misguided t–shirt messages. Cultural Cotton’s mission is to provide progressive t–shirts while encouraging others to make conscious decisions about the messages they choose to wear.

At heart, we are visual designers. The "t-shirt" is our medium of choice because we consider it to be one of the most effective ways to circulate a message within public space. We design all of our t-shirts and put the message first.

All of our t-shirts are screen-printed by hand on American Apparel t-shirts, which are made in America and sweat-shop free. "Stop Being Lazy" and "Mpls/St. Paul" are printed on 100% sustainable cotton and the rest of our t-shirts are printed on 100% cotton.

We are available for services in both graphic design and screen-printing. We love collaborating with educators and progressive organizations so let us know how we can work together.
